Terms of Service

1. Who we are

PuffyBee ("PuffyBee", "we", "us") is an AI creative studio operated from the United Kingdom. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of puffybee.ai and its tools (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country) to use PuffyBee.
  • You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • One person per account. We may suspend accounts that abuse free credits (e.g. repeated signups).

3. Credits and payments

  • Generations are paid for with credits. Credit costs are shown next to each model before you generate.
  • If a generation fails, its credits are automatically refunded to your balance.
  • Purchases are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy — we never receive or store your card details.
  • Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire only if your account is terminated for abuse.

4. Your content

  • You keep all rights you hold in the prompts and media you upload ("Input") and, to the extent permitted by law, in the media you generate ("Output").
  • You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the Service: storing your Input/Output, processing it through our AI providers, and displaying it back to you.
  • We do not use your Input or Output to train AI models, and we do not publish your creations without your consent.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your Input does not infringe third-party rights (copyright, likeness, trademark).

5. Acceptable use

You must not use PuffyBee to create or distribute:

  • content that is illegal in the UK or your jurisdiction;
  • non-consensual intimate imagery, CSAM, or sexualised depictions of minors (zero tolerance — reported to authorities);
  • deceptive impersonations of real people (including voice clones) without their documented consent;
  • harassment, incitement to violence, or fraud.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated media can be inaccurate, unexpected, or resemble existing works. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing Output before using it commercially.

7. Availability and changes

We may add, change, or retire models and features (upstream AI providers change frequently). We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law (including under UK consumer law).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections of their country of residence.
